One mark Grassy Creek blood rising 5 year old merino ewes. They are scanned in lamb to LKS White Suffolk sires for a July/August lambing. Carrying 124% of foetuses (all drys removed) and proven breeders in the prime of their maternal lives. These ewes were purchased as part of the annual program to utilise stubbles and originate from Bathurst NSW. Due to a tight summer they are presenting in predominantly 2 score condition with the potential to gain weight - assessed +24hrs off feed.They produce approx 19 micron wool (season pending) with the ability to cut in excess of 5kg. They have a good start in the skin and with the position of the wool market they will have a return on offer before lambing of required. These ewes offer the successful purchaser a quick trade or could even be run through for a few more lambs yet. Good honest medium framed ewes that were only sold initially due to seasonal condition. Has that not been the case they would still be in their original breeding program.
