A generally very good quality line of Ewes, 1 mark, rising 2 years depastured to the Oakhurst Border Leicester Rams from the 1st of November. Ewes present in forward fresh store condition and average 48.1 kg, 20 hours off feed at assessment. Their weight range is from 38 kg to 64 kg [ see weight range distribution]. They are freshly shorn and starting to really do well. They are mostly medium/large frame with a small percentage of smaller frames.They should have joined up well and purchaser has the opportunity to buy the Rams which are in this sale also as a separate lot. These Ewes are showing good breeding characteristics and a tail has been removed. Ewes were purchased ex "Nothern Wyandra" at Charleville as mixed sex Lambs one year ago and the Wether portion is in this sale also.
