345 vendor bred Cashmore Oaklea Composite ewes that are station mated to a Poll Dorset ram. They are 2024 drop (Black tags), The flock has been based on Cashmore Oaklea genetics for 20 plus years. They were teased for 2 weeks prior to joining, the rams went in on the 5th March and out on the 11th April. They are all Low birth weight Derrynock Dorsets. They are classed in ewe lambs, there was no selection criteria, run out the gate, 345 are getting sold and 345 and staying. Last year the flock weaned 151% to ewes scanned in very trying conditions. The only reason they are being sold is due to seasonal conditions. They are currently locked in Containment receiving barley are hay. Great Future breeders.
