FLOCK DISPERSAL - PROPERTY SOLD. On offer is a line of 355 Merino ewes, 5.5 years old (2017 drop). These ewes are one of 4 lines of classed breeding ewes on offer in this sale as part of the "Womera" flock dispersal. The flock has been a self-replacing flock of Gullengamble blood, classed annually by Mark Kerin. Average fibre diameter from 2022 shearing of 17.5-18 micron. Ewes are September shorn and not mulesed. Great opportunity for producers to put together a line of classed breeding ewes, with the hoggets and lambs from the flock to also be offered in coming weeks. A sample of 20 of these ewes were mouthed, and all had sound blocky mouths. Noted the odd ewe with scur/light horn, and also some ewes with longer toes due to the very wet/soft conditions.
