360 Maternal Composite Ewes 2 - 3 years presenting in healthy forward store to fresh condition.
Ewes are a combination of both Vendor bred & Purchased. The Purple Tag 2020 drop ewes (approx 65%) were purchased Ex King Island as future breeding ewe lambs late 2020. The Yellow Tag 2021 Drop ewes (approx 35%) are the retained ewe lambs being the progeny of the Purple tag ewes.
Ewes are a complete drop with a 8% tail of lighter ewes being removed at assessment.
Ewes had the last drop of lambs weaned 2 weeks prior to assessment.
Ewes have been established in a barbervax program last summer.
At assessment ewes demonstrated an impressive live weight averaging 80kg indicative to their previous seasons progeny achieving carcass weights exceeding 30kg when processed earlier this year.
Sale of ewes due to a change in operation, presenting an opportunity to secure a genuine line of established young breeding ewes to take on & join to rams of choice.
