OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS!!! 750 Maternal Composite ewes to be offered as 2 runs out the gate of 375. They are predominately rising 7 years with a small percentage rising 5 & 6 years. Scanned in lamb to South Suffolk rams at 174% to commence lambing in August for 5 weeks. At assessment, 100 ewes were ran up the race & mouthed finding 40 ewes to be broken to varying degrees. Some ewes were only missing a wing tooth or showed some spacing, however a smaller percentage of ewes were extremely worn & had very few teeth left (see photos). Given the outstanding condition that these ewes are in, I have no doubt they will be able to rear a lamb this year with the majority of them being able to go around for another year or two. Ewes will be reserved at $195!!
