Comment on Fat Score 1 Sheep

All ewes that were assessed as score 1's presented in forward store condition and would travel following the correct travel guidelines. These ewe HGT have only been grazing on native pasture . With recent weather conditions it has been very difficult to prepare and present livestock for sale. Please take into consideration that a small portion of ewes look close to lambing and would not be ideal to be trucked further then a 150km radius. FIT to load will come into delivery consideration.

A tidy line of 86% 1st Cross & 14% Crossbred ewe Hoggets, June shorn, presenting in forward store condition, continuously joined to white Suffolk rams, doing an outstanding job on their first 2nd X cross suckers @ foot. These ewes have not finished lambing yet with a small portion roughly 10% visibly showing signs of springing, which will be determined wether they are fit to travel @ delivery. Since arrival these ewes have really powered ahead in condition as there animal health has been kept right up to date. The suckers present fresh which have been marked, tagged, drenched & vaccinated. This small article presents numerous opportunity to intended purchaser as these young ewes have a full life ahead of them with sappy crossbred suckers that averaged 24kg @ assessment. Note: 2 x ewes looked visibly dry, 1x ewe displayed horn but both deemed non Detrimental. OPPORTUNITY PRESENTS
