Lead draft of 810 ewes. Ewes were purchased ex Tambo off Toolmaree Pastoral Co. who have been breeding merino sheep in the Tambo district for the last 140 years. Flock is bred of Haddon rig based blood lines. Ewes are moderate to large frames with a healthy start in the jacket. Ewes were given the full works of a drench, 5 in 1 and jetted with coopers fly and lice on the 1st of September and went onto and are still on a large plane of feed. All ewes mouthed at assessment present with a sound mouth
*Please note some ewes were seen to be developing long toes to be expected with age. This did not have any impact on movement or health of sheep. All feet were hard and solid with any major faults removed at assessment.
