Assessor Comments
Offering on behalf of GL Carter Family Trust a line of 390 September shorn, medium frame, 4.5yo ewes. This is the annual selling of cast for age ewes mouthed at assessment to ensure no broken mouths. Averaging 58kgs of the scales and still improving post shearing. Bred out of Gleanlea Park, Wallaloo Park and Sohnic rams for wool growth and quality whilst still having a plain bodied ewe. These ewes cut around 5kgs of wool at 18.5 micron at an 8 month shearing. Please note there is 300 Spring drop and 90 autumn drop ewes in this line. They are the same sheep just been running on different properties. Please note some ewes have either a red, purple or green sire tag. An ideal line of tried and tested ewes to take on and kick on with your existing merino operation.
