Assessor Comments
A well presented line of merino Ewes are on offer to merino enthusiasts who wish to purchase a good quality line of western bred Ewes. These are the last of the "Tregoning" Merinos offered for sale. Ewes would be an asset to any sheep operation with ewes known to produce premium offspring & high fertility with Ewes having 420 1st cross Dorper/ Merino Lambs weaned from them on the 6/1/22 and another 50 lambs removed at assessment so some could be showing milk udders. Ewes have proven history of growing high quality wool due to the selection of Mt Ascot and Wellgully bloodlines. Ewes of this calibre are hard to source if looking for well presented stock for breeding purposes. Although ewes are not station mated there were 2 White Dorper rams found in the mob & removed at lamb marking in October. Rams may have been in there from June to October so no guarantees on preg status. One ewe had a broken fleece & 1 with a small lump on ear. Good quality ewes for any breeding purposes.
