Prime lamb breeders, an excellent and rare opportunity to purchase proven young first-cross breeding ewes which are SIL and ready to go. Ewes are 2.2 to 2.3 years old (April/May 2023 drop) and were bred by the Crockett family in the Walgett district. They are bare shorn and scanned in lamb at 170% to Poll Dorset rams, to lamb from the 2nd week of August for 6 weeks. Ewes are proven breeders, with this being their 2nd lamb. A great line of ewes with all the hard work done, SIL with a big percentage of lambs on board and in ideal condition to lamb down. Noted 5-6 ewes in the mob carrying red tags with a different PIC, these ewes could be a year older but were with the ewes when purchased. Also noted 4-5 ewes in mob with light horn.
