A proven line of 400 Egelabra blood SIL Merino ewes, 5–7 years, averaging 50kg at assessment. An even line of medium-framed ewes presenting in healthy store condition, displaying soft, supple skins and carrying an even white fleece. These productive breeding ewes are from a long-established and highly regarded Egelabra flock. 100% SIL following a 6-week joining to Kerin Poll Merino and St Helena Border Leicester rams, due to commence lambing from approximately 12th October. Offering purchasers the opportunity to secure proven breeding ewes suitable for retaining quality Merino replacements or producing highly sought-after first-cross lambs. Shorn 22nd June and carrying approximately 10–11 weeks’ wool at assessment. A genuine opportunity to purchase a sound line of proven breeders. Full herd dispersal, this vendor has 2 other lots in this sale. Also please note the red & blue tags in some photos are not included in this sale lot.
