Assessor Comments
An excellent opportunity to aquire a tightly held breeding line of Belswick genetics Merino ewes. Vendor bred, these ewes are retained annually as a surplus line to the main self-replacing Merino flock and are joined to terminals to supply xb lambs for feedlotting; generally topping Wagga sale every year for export weight lambs. Sisters of these ewes have placed first in Condobolin, Lake Cargelligo and West Wyalong maiden Ewe competitions in recent years. Scanned at 162% to Tarella White Suffolks (drys not included) to commence lambing approx mid August for 6-7 weeks. March shorn, full 6 in 1 vaccinations plus a ewe guard every year at crutching. Drenched if required, seasonally. Bright, bulky and stylish wool cutters. An ideal line for someone to join annually to terminals or class and join to a Merino as a starter flock. A regretful sale by vendor, only selling due to seasonal conditions and lack of agistment availability for rising ewe lambs. See younger sisters in this sale also.
