A quality line of 412 black tag merino ewes, purchased from multiple vendors in March as maiden ewes. The ewes were purchased as station mated and have performed well, achieving a 90% lambing rate at mulesing. These ewes present as a nice even line, despite differences in origin. All original Vendors use local merino studs. These ewes present in excellent condition, with lambs weaned on the day of inspection. Their wool was nice and bright at shearing and they have proven themselves as productive breeders.
