THESE EWES HAVE IMPROVED OFF THE BACK OF RECENT RAINS & SHOULD HAVE JOINED WELL AFTER BEING SCANNED EMPTY IN FEBRUARY. THEY HAVE BEEN RUNNING AT 1.5% & ARE FROM YANCO HIGH SCHOOL & RAMSAY PARK STUDS. THE LIGHTER EWES IN THIS CONSIGNMENT ARE MAINLY BLACK TAGS THAT ARE STILL GROWING OUT. THERE IS A VERY SMALL PERCENTAGE OF EWES WITH EITHER A LIGHT MULES OR NONE BUT ARE PLAIN ENOUGH TYPES. THESE EWES ARE RENOWN FOR GIVING LARGE FRAMED EXPORT LAMBS. ONLY SELLING DUE TO THE LAMBING BEING NOT WORKING IN WITH THE PROGRAM OTHERWISE WOULD NOT BE FOR SALE. NOTE THERE SHOULD BE APPROX ANOTHER 20 THAT DIDN’T COME IN FOR ASSESSMENT THAT SHOULD HOPEFULLY BE IN THE COUNT ON DELIVERY.
