Assessor Comments
Due to seasonal conditions the vendor is reluctantly selling a line of leading Ridgeway blood Merino ewes with over 20+ years of breeding behind them these ewes are a testament to the vendors ram and ewe selections over their long career. The cross bred lambs at foot, are sired by leading Harrys Well White Suffolk rams with this combination having consistently produced early and heavy crossbred lambs in previous years for the vendor. The vendor has been purchasing top end Ridgeway genetics for 20+ years for their self replacing flock which has produced plain, big bodied productive ewes which saw this years %’s at marking at over 110%. Lambs were marked in early June and all exposed to grain through supplementary feeding. A sample was weighed, MIN- 18kgs - MAX - 33kg, the lambs remain fresh and in forward condition. Vendor has decided to shift them on early to avoid a drop in condition of the lambs to give prospective buyers the best chance at pushing these to their full potential.

Vendor Comments
Sadly these are the basis of our flock, selling only due to seasonal conditions and before the lambs slip back in condition. Our ram selections over the years gives us high confidence that these lambs will certainly perform for the prospective buyer.
