440 Dorper ewes scanned in lamb to Dell Dorper Auction grade rams to commence lambing on the 3rd Sept for 7 weeks. Ewes are 4 & 5 years old , ewes are not vendor bred.
Would describe ewes as medium to well grown and 5% as backward store , 80% as store & 15% as forward store. Please note these ewes weaned 132% of lambs last week. Vendor scans each year and these ewes have reared a lamb each year.
Ewes all purchased as lambs & 1 year olds hence the age coloured NLIS tags , ewes are not mouthed and making no guarantees about soundness.
Ewes scanned 100 % in lamb , were not scanned for multiples.
