Assessor Comments
900 merino ewe lambs 12-13 months old to be offered in 2 runs of 450 hd as a run out the gate. A decent run of unclassed vendor bred merino ewe lambs mulsed and tail stripped for buyer convenience. They have a good start in the jacket averaging 49mm of clean wool with minimal dust penetration. Lambs are lighter in condition and will benefit from a change in diet and will improve quickly. A 10% tail was drafted out at assessment and retained. Lambs are Lewsidale and Derella Downs blood. The dams are medium to large framed types. There are 2 PIC numbers in this consignment due to lambs being born on agistment. Lambs are for sale due to lack of feed and loss of an agistment block. These ewes are ideal to buy now and fatten on a spring flush to join at a time of your choosing. Please note there was 2 hd from ewes assessed with light dermo in a strip over their back and down their side (refer last 2 photos). Also rain may alter delivery dates.
