Assessor Comments
Offering on behalf of G Carter Family Trust is a line of 450 NSM Ewes. This line is Sohnic/Leachim BLD and are medium frame. Ewes present in forward store condition averaging 58.5kg over the scales at assessment after a tough season and are continuing to pick up post shearing. They weaned 90% lambs on the 17th of October which was an exceptional effort given the tough season.
Vendor focuses very heavily on their wool and these ewes cut 4kg at 10 months shearing in early October that went 18 micron. They are also members of the RWS (Responsible Wool Standard).
This is a great line of proven breeders with plenty to offer any Merino/Wool based operation.
