450 Merino Wethers. These sheep have been retained as wool cutters & have performed very well for the vendor. Last year these sheep as hoggets cut 5kg of fleecwool measuring 75mm at 8 months. These sheep would be the ideal article to fatten taking advantage of a good spring & a red hot mutton market. Some of the sheep have scaring on their head from St Johns wart poisoning last year, it isnt affecting them anymore. Approx 5 % are March shorn. Vendor has 600 Black tags in the lamb sale.
