465 MUMBLEBONE BLOOD MERINO EWES.THESE EWES ARE WELL GROWN PLAIN BODIED TYPES THAT ARE HEAVY BONED WITH GOOD FRAME, LENGTH, DEPTH. BRED BY THE RIDGE FAMILY ON "JANDRA", "NULTY" AND "WAPWEELAH", ON THE DARLING AND WARREGO RIVERS AT BOURKE AND TRUCKED TO "YAMBLE" DUE TO THE TOUGH SEASON. THESE EWES ARE OUT OF CLASSED MUMBLEBONE BLOOD BREEDERS. 4% OF THE ASSESSED SAMPLE WITH LIGHT HORN, 25% HAD STAR THISTLE ON NECKS AND HEAD AND APPROX 10% WERE A LATER SHEARING. QUALITY WELL BRED YOUNG EWES THAT ARE READY TO JOIN ON THE RIGHT FEED, WITH ALL THE ATTRIBUTES THAT ARE DESIRABLE FOR A RE-STOCKER AND WOULD SUIT MERINO OR CROSSBRED OPERATIONS. THIS FLOCK IS ONE OF THE OLDEST MUMBLEBONE COMMERCIAL BREEDING FLOCKS AND HAS BEEN CLASSED BY ANDY McLEOD FOR THE PAST 36 YEARS.
