Assessor Comments
One mark merino ewes purchased ex the breeder from WA. These ewes are plain bodied and ideally suited to a xb operation. They have withstood the conditions in a very trying season due to excessive rainfall. Their wool maintained its colour and the only limping ewes removed at assessment had an abscess present (3hd). They are only presenting lighter in condition due to the lack of sunlight and feed being slow to respond through winter. They will fatten to medium to large framed ewes and are on the improve since shearing, having lambs weaned and being drenched onto some better feed. These ewes are in the prime of their life and only being offered for sale to make room for stock coming back from agistment. These ewes have a few years of production left in them yet. Please note delivery will have to be worked around the weather.
