Assessor Comments
The Toolangatta flock is one of the oldest pure Dorper flocks in Australia. In its inception Embryos were imported from South Africa in 1999. 100% Amarula blood soon after the establishment of the stud. Bred for fertility, confirmation and shedding traits. Any ewe that fails to conceive or rear a lamb is culled from the flock. The Toolangatta flock ewes where depastured for 5 weeks in March 2020 and raised 169% in spring 2020, with lambs at foot they were re-depastured on 09/11/20 for 5 weeks and achieved a conception rate of 89%. This lot is scanned 100% NDP. Vendors have 3 other lots this sale. This may assist with freight accumulation. Older age groups will have broken mouths. Not mouthed but presumed full and faulty.
