Assessor Comments
A good line of station mated line of White Dorper ewes that have been joined to Tattykeel & Red Hill Aussie White rams @ 4% for 6 weeks. These ewes are in their working cloths but are improving quickly, just having big lambs weaned off them & going through one of the hardest winters on stock we have seen. The Washbrook family run a double joining program, joining the ewes at lamb marking. These ewes were scanned empty with a higher % of drys than previous years due to the light condition of the ewes coming out of winter with lambs on them. After scanning them as empty the lambs were weaned, ewes put on a fresh paddock in the peak of spring and got joined on a rising plain of nutrition. Every ewe in this mob has raised lambs every year. These sheep present a good opportunity for someone to lamb down in the Autumn. Vendor has total of 254 ewes in various age groups in the same sale joined the same.
