These ewes were still majority full lambs teeth with only 8 out of 35 cutting two teeth.

Offering 480 Quality Merino Ewes. These ewes averaged 53kg live at assessment after an 18 hour curfew. The ewes are all 2021 drop and majority are still showing full lambs teeth. The ewes are all sired by quality Bundilla Merino rams that are selected for early growth, fertility and soft handling bright wools that fall between 18 to 19 micron. These ewes were joined in Autumn as lambs in a large group and were scanned empty in August, most of these ewes would have been very young to join and should breed on well given their maturity and size now. Buyers this is a good line of one mark young ewes that carry a generous jacket and are ready to join to the ram of your choice, so you can buy with confidence. Please note that although the ewes have had Clik applied recently, they would benefit from crutching prior to joining. Also please note 3 ewes were noted with light ewe horn in assessed ewes and there are two other lots in the sale from the same vendor.

Good healthy skins.

Wool types were generally very soft to handle and showed good characteristics. Mostly bright white types with good crimp definition with only a few noted as drier and less character. Please see photos for examples.

The lambs are bred from mixed bloodlines of ewes with Bundilla Merino Sires used.

Bundilla Merino Bloodline rams used. These are selected for early growth, fertility and soft handling wools that fall between 18 to 19 Micron.

Good body of Mitchell grass and other summer grasses, that has plenty of green throughout.

Turnoff of young ewes that were joined early as lambs and were scanned out. This mob of ewes would have been generally too young at joining and will be good future breeders now they have reached maturity.

Not Station Mated

These ewes were station mated in autumn as lambs 5 - 10 months old and were scanned empty in August and removed from the main mob.

To vendor's best knowledge, this lot has had no access to rams or stags.
