482 Aug - Sep 2022 Merino Ewes, bred on Egelabra blood & mouthed 2 & 4 tooth. They have averaged 36.5kg at assessment and present in store condition off the back of tightening seasonal conditions in western Queensland. These Ewes present 2 weeks off shears and are on the improve condition wise. In this lot there is a small amount of burr in their fleece around the head, neck and points. These Ewes are displaying the benefits of top quality ram selections with ample frame, length and depth of body. The Chandler family from "Hillalong" have been breeding sheep for generations in the Barcaldine district and have a flock based on top quality Egelabra genetics. The Hillalong flock is renowned for producing above average heavy fleeces at an impressive 19 micron. These Ewes offer a great opportunity to purchase future breeders to join to a ram of your choice or fatten and trade out of them with these ewes being mouthed 2 & 4 tooth. A great line of young ewes not to be missed.
