Assessor Comments
490 GQ SIL Merino Ewes with 40mm of Wool to fit on 6 decks. Majority have Good Length, Depth & Frame for their age, for the region. These "Egelabra & Combadgery" Blood Ewes will lamb down in Oct/Nov to VGQ “Omeo” White Suffolk Rams. Approx half of the Blue & Red Tags were classed out as Weaners by Jack Kelly with any older Ewes being Classed in Ewes that didn't get sold earlier in the year. They are only being sold due to change in direction of sheep operation (Flock Dispersal of Breeding Ewes). 106 Ewes were assessed through the combiclamp after 2 hours off feed with access to water. Of the assessed Ewes there were 51 x Blue Tags 2023 Drop Maidens, 12 x Red Tags 2022 Drop, 11 x Yellow Tags 2021 Drop, 5 x Purple Tags 2020 Drop & 26 x Green Tags 2019 Drop. Please note above trait table. Vendor also has 14 decks of Classed in Blue & Red Tag Merino Ewes SIL to Merino Rams in the same sale. *Assessor has no financial interest in this mob but is related to the vendor.*
