Assessor Comments
A line of 490 SIL genuine rising 5 year old merino breeding ewes that present in store to forward store condition. Ewes are best described as large frame, proven breeders and bale fillers. They present with a good start in the jacket with 45mm skin being shorn in the 1st week of November. Ewes have been scanned with 46% having multiples which have been identified with a green mark on back after assessment and 54% singles. At assessment mouthed 40 head, all presented with good sound full mouths with no ewes showing any wear. Ewes are genuine breeders but do present the buyer an ideal opportunity to lamb out and join to ram of choice or fatten and split. Due to the good season being experienced it would be advised to crutch ewes not long after arrival.
