A smaller line of 4, 5 & 6 year old ewes, with 55 marked lambs at foot, sired by ASHBANK White Suffolk rams, Ewes are predominantly fresh in the mouth, however, 6 ewes are starting to break, as represented in the photos. These good to large-framed ewes have proven to be very productive for the vendor, raising a good percentage of top quality FX Border lambs at last years joining. These ewes have a very good start in the jacket with a big 70mm skin, offering a potential rebate to the purchaser in as little as 1-2 months, or alternatively, the potential to shear straight away, to clean up the burr content. This, combined with the good quality, export weight potential lambs at foot, provides for a very sound opportunity for a short-term, profitable trade, for those lucky enough to have feed from early rains. 3 late drop lambs will be marked prior to delivery, & 2 ewes have small scur. Ideal smaller trade mob, with ample opportunity to profit from lambs & wool. 100% of ewes sampled.

Good staple length with well defined crimp. 19.8 micron at last shearing. Medium to heavy VM throughout wool, as described in Burr content. Some ewes sampled look to be past their best clip. Lambs at foot also have quite a bit of burr in skin.

Purchased ex Auctionsplus in December 2021 as 2.5, 3.5 & 4.5 year olds. Ewes have been part of a larger mob used for a FX Border Leicester ewe breeding operation. These ewes have lambed down to White Suffolk sires this time around.

Bred in South Australia on North Ashrose & Kelvale bloodlines.

Native grass pasture with fresh short ryegrass pick throughout. Trail fed wheat every second day, with Lucerne hay and Salt/Lime supplement.

Purchased ex Auctionsplus for the purpose of breeding quality FX ewes. Joined to White Suffolk rams this lambing. Last years JULY/AUG Drop FX Border wether lambs were sold at 9 months of age and weighed from 60kg-88kg to average 66kg.
