Assessor Comments
A very even line of large frame, in good order Western Qld bred ewes. They have got 50% multiples in them and have good solid teeth so could handle average to good feed to lamb out on. They are in lamb to Picarilli bred merino rams and will raise good lambing percentages in a reasonable year as they are bred tough from Thargomindah, very low rainfall area. They are very easy care, plain body, large frame ewes and have done really well in the season out at Picarilli, with 22% fat score 3. They have only got 20mm of wool on them so all that will need to happen to them before lambing is just crutching as far as the wool goes. They are genuine 5.5 and 6.5 year old ewes with a strong Leachim blood background with lambs from Mumblebone blood rams.
