Offering 520 quality Well Gully bloodline Merino Ewes. These ewes averaged 62.6kg live at assessment and are all white tag 2017 drop. The ewes were last shorn in late February and are currently carrying 60mm average wool and have been freshly crutched. The majority of these ewes are medium frame but are quite long and deep with good carcass attributes that Well Gully sheep are renowned for. These ewes were scanned NDP on the 04/10/22 for sale purposes to give the purchaser confidence that they are ready to join to the ram of their choice and are normally joined in Nov/Dec so are ready for their normal joining. The Janet Downs flock has had a big emphasis on fertility with all ewes scanned and also wet and dried at lamb marking with no empties retained. Very good grazing conditions with plentiful Mitchell grass with green throughout and other herbages.

Turnoff of 2017 drop ewes that were born in a dry year and are hence medium frame. All ewes have had a lamb each year as the flock is scanned and wet and dried at lamb marking with none retained. Ewes have also been trained on trail feeding and licks
