Assessor Comments
Good quality line of NSM poll merino maiden ewes. Ewes are well grown for their age and performing well with the good season. Ewes present even as a group and in ideal joining condition. Ewes have been classed out from a large group and a visual tail (15%) based on type and size was removed pre assessment. Ewes will mature into solid medium to larger frame matrons if given the opportunity. Lerida sheep carry excellent fertility within their operation and these sheep will carry the same performance if managed accordingly. Ewes stand sound on their feet and a very number of assessed had horn or scur as well as odd ewe with Dermo (majority of these were taken out pre assessment). Please call for further information.
