6 Decks of good quality Merino ewes that present in store to forward store condition, with 120% of very big lambs removed at time of assessment. Ewes are vendor bred in the Cunnamulla district and best described as B to A frame and are enjoying a fabulous season so far. Some ewes are lighter in condition, due to large lambs at foot up until assessment. Ewes are a complete drop from 2016 and would normally be kept for another lamb but due to very good lambing's for the past three years the vendor has decided to keep more younger ewes. Vendor has been on Coban Merino bloodlines for a number of years. Last years wether lambs sold for $186/head which were bred from these same ewes. They are proven breeders and buyers should have confidence they will do the job. As lambs were removed at assessment, Ewes had large udders. Some larger ram lambs were removed at assessment that were missed at lamb marking. Five ewes were noted to have old fly strike, not seen as detrimental as wool is growing.
