Assessor Comments
A very good mob of medium to large frame (mainly large frame) Karbullah blood ewes. They are a plainer body type & are very fertile sheep. The client is only selling this age group to reduce numbers due to the very good weaning percentages. A good even line of ewes that you would easily get another 1 or 2 lambs out of for their age on good feed. I did notice 2 ewes that had a bit of a bigger udder. These ewes are on a rising plain of health due to the season and since the lambs have been weaned from them a month ago. With the majority of them being 2 scores it wouldn't be hard for them to keep going and make a good joining condition & weight. Unfortunately some are going off a bit in the wool due to their age. These ewes are very strong & healthy as they were very lively in the yards when we weighed them. A small percentage do not have a tag at assessing, so they may have a different colour tag put in their ear so they have a NLIS tag in them.
