Assessor Comments
The Keston sheep are classed breeders from a outstanding quality merino flock with 36 years of breeding history, that have used high quality Merino Rams and have been continually classed by Tom Henry. This lot of Merino Wethers are currently running on soft green feed that is just starting to harden up as it warms up and as a result they are picking up in condition and are moving forward. The wethers at this age on this property are normally grown out for the mutton market or sold to a wool grower that may need older wethers with the teeth up for a tougher country. A tail of 18% was drafted out at assessment. A great opportunity to buy a quality wool producing merino wether where most of the hard work has already been done.
