Assessor Comments
A very good quality, smaller line of FX maiden ewes, faithfully joined for 7 weeks to GILMORE Poll Dorset rams. These future breeders were purchased ex Auctionsplus & privately in August last year as 3 separate lines of FX mixed sex lambs. The wether portions were fattened & sold into trade & export markets, & the earlier drop, older sisters to these ewes were sold earlier in the year. This line of future breeders were given extra time to fully develop before accessing the rams. Bred from large framed Merino ewes, & sired by DARJEELING & RANGOON Border Leicester rams, they present as very well grown, even, true to type, stylish ewes, which have been joined at the peak of their nutritional plane. Post-breeder EID tags have been administered for management data. Ewes are carrying a big 100mm jacket & would benefit from being shorn immediately. Ideal mob to top up breeding numbers with some fresh maidens, or great starter mob. 100% of mob sampled for buyer confidence.
