Assessor Comments
Young breeder ewes that form part of a flock dispersal from Kurrajong Park. These are the complete unclassed drop with just a small tail removed prior to assessment. These ewes will offer restockers the chance to continue on with a Merino breeding program or mate to a crossbred ram for production of 1st cross lambs. You will note in the photos that there are some dags around the tail from being on the lush winter oats crop, as a result these will be given a very light market crutch under the tail on Monday 18th prior to sale and delivery. Also noted a very small percentage (under 5%) with some light Mycotic Dermatitis that is well and truly lifted off the skin. These lambs have done extremely well since they had access to the oats in the past 2 months. Ewes have also been in an OJD Gudair vaccination program so offer purchasers from all areas to operate on these ewes. There are 1300 all up being offered in two lots of 650.
