Offering a line of 69 1st Border Leicester x Merino Ewes. These ewes are April/May 2020 drop. They are good medium-large frame and present in forward condition. Ewes bred from large South Australian ewes and by Hewitt Border rams from Warracknabeal. Given time and conditions these ewes have the breeding/genetics to grow into large frame breeders. They are February shorn, Mlsd and OJD vaccinated. This line of ewes were deapastured to quality Pembroke Poll Dorset rams on the 15/03/21 and Scanned in lamb by Alistair Calder on the 13/06/21. At scanning this line contained 26 twins and 43 singles OR 137%. All twins ewes have a purple dot on the back. Ideal line of ewes that would be a nice addition to any existing flock. All the hard work has been done. Put on good feed and lamb down mid August/September and take full advantage of a promising spring and lamb markets. Please note ewes had a 18 hour curfew before assessment
