Assessor Comments
A quality small line of rising 2 year old Merino wethers. Wethers are September/October 2023 drop and present in strong store condition. The Glenroy flock is based on Emoh Ruo & Queenlee bloodlines and is well renowned for producing high quality superfine wool. Wethers are early November shorn and are carrying an impressive clean, bright & white superfine fleece. Wethers have been on a Barbervax vaccination program since lambs. Vendor would normally retain these wethers but is selling to make way for additional breeding ewes. Ideal wethers to retain as future woolgrowers or to shear and fatten to take advantage of the strong mutton market.
