Poll Coreena Blood ewes depastured with Poll Coreena Merino rams 29.11.21-24.01.22 for an 8 week joining. Medium frame ewes in good strong sound condition & late October shorn. 1 undershot in the sample assessed, 9% have light scaly ears. Late last year the total ewe flock were on lighter rations due to pasture management however taking into account the scanning % with dries included this age group have tested up at 81%. Dry ewes are removed from this sale lot - this mob are 100% scanned in lamb as at 11.03.22. My point being even when Joined in lighter body condition they are a very fertile flock. A very even run of ewes that will bounce ahead on good feed.

By Coreena Poll Merino rams & depastured with Coreena Poll Merino rams. A very small number will be bred from other purchased ewes.
Grazing Conditions
An excellent stand of fresh Mitchell grass, herbages and salines. Elward Downs has experienced very good back to back seasons with 40mm 3 days before assessment the fresh feed will come away and the ewes will benefit with the finer weather.
