Very good line of 80 Dorset ewes that have been depastured to Dorset rams. These are very big square poll dorset ewes that have been run as a commercial flock to breed some rams. They are mixed age ewes but were mouthed in Dec and all sound mouth and checked for soundness in udder and feet and deemed to be still sound. They are in prime condition and are very solid to av 97kg. The ewes were scanned on 30/1 found to be 6 already in lamb then were put in with 17 rams for 2 cycles so should have predominantly tight lambing. Ideal opportunity to breed some flock rams or have beautiful square suckers. Note ewes had some sand burr in wool

Further Information: As most sheep in the Riverina they did experience some scald in the winter/spring when was wet and feed very rich. Regularly footbathed and have been on vendors 2nd property for past 3 mths that is clean sandhills.
Feet were inspected at assessment. Inspected 10 head (12%)
Comments: They all looked good in feet that were inspected.

Details: Property had some lice 2 yrs ago and are backlined at shearing since. Dorset ewes are prone to rubbing which visually appears like are itchy.
