Of the 122 ewes that were mouthed the majority were still very sound mouths with even the worn mouths still sound but just getting lower and worn evenly. There were 2 found to be broken in the assessed ewes. Overall quite sound teeth considering age.

Offering 800 Merino Ewes. These ewes averaged 53kg live at assessment after an 18 hour curfew. The ewes are majority 6 years old and are mainly purchased in ex western QLD and NSW. The ewes are on a rising plane from recent shearing and weaning lambs, ready for the new owner. Buyers this is a large line of productive ewes that have raised a lamb this year and would be perfect for a crossbred join to provide one more lamb and wool clip. Some of the ewes have only recently weaned a lamb in the last few weeks so some udders still showing. The ewes were assessed across two separate yards on the property and will be boxed together for delivery to make up the 800 ewes with 260 being assessed at one yard and another 540 at the other. Please note at assessment 4 ewes were sighted with light black markings on the ear and many with scale showing. Three ewes noted of the assessed with missing part of ears and some showing light ewe horn.

August shorn ewes that were generally very soft to handle and showed good characteristics for their age. Mostly bright white types but due to mixed bloodlines there is some variation noted as drier flat types. Please see photos for examples.
