A QUALITY LINE OF 87 BORDER LEICESTER/MERINO 1ST X EWES WITH 100 2ND X LAMBS AT FOOT. EWES ARE IN STRONG STORE CONDITION AND HAVE PERFORMED WELL GIVEN THE CHALLENGING SEASON, MAINTAINING AND RAISING THEIR LAMBS ON DRY NATIVE PASTURES. LAMBS ARE DOING WELL ON THEIR MOTHERS. EWES WERE SHORN END OF NOVEMBER AND LAMBS MARKED APPROXIMATELY 5 WEEKS AGO. GENUINE SEASONAL SALE, WITH THE DRY AND WORSENING CONDITIONS ON THE MONARO PROMPTING A REDUCTION IN NUMBERS. A VERY USEFUL LINE OF PRODUCTIVE EWES AND LAMBS WITH PLENTY OF POTENTIAL. THESE EWES HAVE ALWAYS DONE A GOOD JOB WITH THEIR LAMBS IN THE PAST YEARS.
