Assessor Comments
Mixed age composite and xb ewes SIL to Aberdeen and Tattykeel blood poll Dorset sires. SIL at 142% with twins identified and the drys sold last week. Only for sale due to being a rejoined mob of ewes and now they don’t match the program. Joined for a tight 33 days due to commence lambing from late May. These ewes carry plenty of weight and frame and still have room to gain more. 30 head were mouthed with only 2 showing faults. The 4 orange tags were mouthed sound. These ewes are all proven breeders with scanned dry and dry ewes at lamb marking all sold due to seasonal conditions. They will be priced at fat value and offer someone a healthy return on investment given the state of the sheep market currently. An extended delivery until after Easter can be accommodated with prior arrangements.
