Assessor Comments
A very good quality smaller line of western bred, maiden Merino ewes. These Roseville Park blood ewes were purchased ex Bourke breeder as young store ewe lambs last year, & have really powered away since having access to abundant feed on fattening country. These young ewes have grown out nicely, attaining the weight & condition suitable for an Autumn joining. They will continue to develop further on suitable feed, & will mature into some very stylish breeders. These young ewes are generally, fairly plain bodied, with moderate frontal development for increased wool cut. They would be equally suited to both a XB or Merino breeding operation, & provide for an attractive alternative income source, to ever increasing cropping input costs. One ewe has a fist-sized black spot on the back of its neck (see photos). Opportunity to combine with a line of 164 mixed-age, EAST BUNGAREE blood NSM ewes off the same property, also being offered this sale.
