Out of the sample assessed 22 had solid lambs teeth and 44 were breaking and had 2 teeth up.
Assessor Comments
Buyers an opportunity to purchase a quality line of young Mumblebone blood merino ewes. These ewes have benefited from the rain earlier in the year and have grown in to good medium to large frame sheep for there age and present in store to forward store condition. The "Boran" sheep are very highly regarded for there quality of wool they produce each year and average 5kg wool cuts. This lot is ready to join to the ram of choice and has a great start with a 40mm jacket. Some ewes had a chance with a ram around shearing in May with 120 of these ewes weaning lambs at assessment. Also at assessment 2 x ewes noticed with undershot jaws.
A great line of ewes with a great reputation in the wool industry.
