Assessor Comments
A line of rising 2 year Dorper Ewes continuously mated to Boonoon White Dorper Rams. Ewes are started to show well in Lamb and present in forward to prime condition. They range from 50 to 88 kg and average 64.2 kg allowing for a 5% curfew. Ewes are mostly medium frame. There is one black headed Ewe and one with a brown blotch on head and neck area. Balance are white. Approx. half have varying stages of wool growth. Please see photos and video. While there are some Ewes which are not full shedding Sheep they are handy young Ewes which should produce excellent suckers on continued good nutrition. One Ewe is getting over infection in neck area and is on the mend. Some Ewes have long out of shape feet and need a trim. They have been running in very wet & cold condition's , (approx. 36 inch rainfall area) not ideal for Sheep and would benefit from relocating to a warmer dryer climate.
