Assessor Comments
Selling the complete drop of Mature aged ewes (2 to 7) from Avonlea. These ewes are in good working order with 125% good, mostly sappy lambs at foot. Ewes will benefit from shearing and sunshine and lambs should power ahead with sunshine and good feed. There is no reason these lambs couldn't be taken on to export weights if desired approx 5% sired by Southdown. Handful of young lms unmarked. Some of the mature ewes would need to be moved on this year, but approx 80% should go on. 1 year ewes are lambing now and will be sold later. NB One other lot of 100 similar to these and 65 Merino ewes in this sale.
