Assessor Comments
A line of medium to large, framed Angus cows based on Te Mania bloodlines with quality calves at foot. These cows were purchased through the winter as larger runs of cows and are being marketed as they have white faced calves at foot. These cows present in store to forward store condition and are doing an exceptional job on their calves. The calves are sired by Talbalba Hereford bulls and at assessment noted 3 calves showing Santa influence and 1 showing Charolais. The cows in this lot were purchased as 5-10yr old cows and at assessment this matches the description with possibly a couple of older cows going off their mouthing (Please refer to mouthing comments & Photos). These cows will make ideal trade articles or retain the younger breeders for years to come. These cows would have been retained for longer but due to lack of start to the season they are being offered for sale.
