Cows were good to weigh and draft off calves. They are happy to move off you and are forward moving throughout the yards. They do have the ability to become quick if too much pressure is applied.

11 x 12 Simmental cows and calves, averaging 550kg full at assessment. These cows are predominately large frame and in store condition. They are 3 - 4 years and calves range from 2 - 8 months to average 156kg. All calves are sired by ‘Tennysonvale’ Simmental bull (Trust Ya). Cows are not intentionally rejoined although the sire of the calves did get back with them in September for 3 weeks, so cows with the bigger calves have the potential to be in calf. These young females will jump away on good feed and continue to do a great job on their calves. The few lighter cows have the big 280 kg calves on them and would benefit from weaning and decent feed. They are a great opportunity in the current market to buy something with a mile of potential as permanent breeders or trade opportunity. Buy with confidence.
